16 Mile Beach, located in the small West Coast village of Yzerfontein is the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa.
The name derives from the Rooipan that lies behind the dunes of the 16 Mile Beach. The soil contains red salt march-flora. Hench the name Rooipan. This delightful Rosè made from Pinotage has orange and lemon zest on the nose and a lingering after taste. The Rosè is best enjoyed chilled. This is a wine to be enjoyed in the summer with a light chicken dish or salad.
