Terms & Conditions of the Wine Club

  1. I acknowledge that I am of legal age to consume alcohol and can thus subscribe to the wine club.
  2. I understand that the consumption of alcohol can be dangerous if not used in moderation.

3. I hereby certify that the information contained in this document is true and complete in every aspect.

4. I accept the conditions of payment in this document.

5. All wine tasting events and special events requests will be sent to info@africantanacity.co.za

7. I hereby confirm and accept that the relevant wine club package, will only be considered settled in part of in full by the undersigned, should the funds be paid in the following Bank Account in the name of: African Tanacity (Pty)

Payments made on invoices owing to African Tanacity (Pty) to any other bank account other than that above, will not be considered to be settled, and the full amount will remain outstanding, and subject to the normal payment and collection procedures.  Under no circumstances whatsoever, will our bank details change, either by way of change of bank details on our invoices and/or statements, or via a letter and/or email from ourselves, or via any other manner whatsoever.

Payment Options

  1. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, direct deposits and snapscan.
  2. All online credit card payments are processed by the Payfast Internet Payment Gateway.
  3. Card Holders may go to https://www.payfast.co.za/privacy-policy to view Payfast’s security policies.
  4. We also accept payment via direct deposits / EFT.
  5. Corporate clients can run accounts. Please email accounts[@]africantanacity.co.za or info[@]africantanacity.co.za for details.

Order Cancellation / Refund

Should you wish to cancel an order after it has been placed and you have paid by Credit Card, a 10% service fee will be charged and deducted from the refund.

Delivery / Shipping

  1. We currently take approximately 7 days to for orders to be delivered.
  2. Should we suspect any delays, we will contact you immediately for further instructions.
  3. Special delivery instructions can be added during checkout.
  4. All goods must be signed for at delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no adult is at the address when the delivery is attempted, the courier will retain the product. In which case notification of the attempted delivery will be given.
  5. If the delivery address is a work address, the person that placed the order or the Wine Club member must personally sign receipt of the goods as African Tanacity will not be liable for the loss of said orders.
  6. Should the product be returned to us under these circumstances, the customer will be held liable for the delivery costs.

Breakage Policy

As wine bottles are rather fragile, we unfortunately do experience breakages. If when you receive your wine, and you notice that a bottle has been broken, please write this on the waybill you sign. Then let us know how many bottles are broken (and which wine), and we will immediately put the appropriate amount back into your credit card, or send you replacement wine. The choice is yours.

Returns Policy

  1. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us to arrange collection and a refund.
  2. Should the wine not be stored in suitable cool temperatures of 18 Degrees, we cannot exchange and neither will the wine producer take responsibility for incorrect storage procedures.
  3. In cases of unavailability, we will refund you in full within 7 days.
  4. Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the products bought should be directed to info[@]africantanacity.co.za
  5. African Tanacity reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards.
  6. Should we ever exercise this right, we will first communicate with you to try and suggest alternative wines, failing which you will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Gifts

  1. All gift prices exclude delivery in South Africa.
  2. When checking out you can add a gift message or special delivery instructions.
  3. When sending a gift, we do not include the pricing in the parcel.
  4. If you add a gift message, we include a card in the box with your message.

International Orders

  1. Our online store is only available to customers located in South Africa.
  2. African Tanacity does however have its own import and export license.
  3. International sales are nonetheless subject to stringent legislation and we are thus required to adhere to the export policies of both countries.
  4. International customers are welcome to contact us via info[@]africantanacity.co.za and we will advise you regarding international deliveries, gifting and the export procedures.
